Tappening-a campaign created by PR heavyweight Eric Yaverbaum and advertising CEO Mark DiMassimo to inform people about the wastefulness of bottled water and encourage the use of its easy environmental alternative, tap water-and the publishing company Hatherleigh Press have joined forces in a big way over a little book: You Can Save the Earth. The book celebrates some of the easiest and most effective ways to make a difference in the world.
A customized Tappening version of You Can Save the Earth has been created to specifically benefit the cause of promoting the virtues of tap water. A foreword by Yaverbaum and DiMassimo is exclusive to this edition, and half of all book sales will go to the education of consumers regarding the environmental detriments of bottled water and the positive ecological and economic impacts of returning to tap water.
"Change can happen-one person at a time," say Tappening founders Yaverbaum and DiMassimo. Andrew Flach, CEO of Hatherleigh Press, adds, "And one book at a time, too."
You Can Save the Earth is the perfect gift. Save some green while being green-and right before the holidays.
